9 month check up

Today Logan had his 9 month check up and I thought I give you all a general update as to how he is doing.


Weight: 23 pounds 8 ounces
Height: 29 inches

He is in the 80th percentile for both height and weight. He is perfectly healthy. He is beginning to walk around furniture. He still sits down and crawls when stuff is too far away. He has a very big vocabulary. He can say: Mama, Dada, Hi, Baba, and drandma. Of course, he still points to himself and says "Goo".

His best friend is the Roomba. It's our robot vaccumm. He chases it around and the other day I caught him kissing it and calling it MAMA! I was jealous.

DALLAS TRIP

We went to Dallas on vacation. This is in Fort Worth. Laura, Chris, Sher, and Logan had a great time exploring all the old buildings. Downtown Ft. Worth has an awesome water garden. Logan here is walking up a wall of water. It was hot and murky so he olved the cold water on his toes.
I don't know how much Laura loves Logan but Logan loved Laura like mad. They had a great time playing together. We miss being close to Lee's family!

This is the influence Chris has over the minds of young America. Jared looks awesome like this!
Aaron looks so handsome in this hat! We will miss you when you go to the mission field but know you'll be GREAT!

Everyone knows how much Chris loves Superman. He thinks Logan should too! He has a whole Superman collection of clothes. It's sad Logan only has eyes for Mickey Mouse.










Recently, Logan and Mommy hitched a ride to Utah to see mommies sisters. We missed Daddy terribly but it was fun to see Grandpa with all his new babies. Here is Logan with his cousin Ryleigh.






Ryleigh is two months older than Logan but she's a dainty princess. The two of them hit it off eventually after they beat up on each other a few times, and I am sad to say a few fights over pacifier rights.



The next picture is Logan, Ryleigh, and Kerisyn. Kerisyn is my niece Timmi's baby girl. She had great fun taking care of both babies. She kept putting the pacifiers in their mouths. It was so funny I couldn't stop laughing.



My sister Lei Loni finally got to meet Logan. She let him play with her son Bryce's rattle. I was so honored and moved I cry at the memory of it.



Here is my niece Shendra. It's so weird for me to think that not so long ago Shendra was crawling around our house saying "Shena, up up" and now she is holding my son! Amazing how life goes!

This is Logan's purple pimp suit. This will be the last time he gets to wear it. He has gotten so big that he is wearing 12 month now. He is tall!

Here his smiling! This is the smile that melted a thousand hearts at church. He has a little following among the women in Relief Society there.




Here he is trying to steal dad's phone.
He didn't get it and that angerfied him! He is getting his second tooth and his gums are all red and swollen. He has been screaming all day and just very freakin cranky!

Sleep at last!

This was Logan's first Sanit Patrick's Day. We aren't Irish and I don't think Logan is either but what has that to do with the hoilday anyway right?
Logan is just a cool looking baby!

I think this counts as our first family photo! At least as close as I can get Chris to doing one.

Just when Logan thought there was nothing more we could do to him that would cause embarassment down the line we discovered "THE SAILOR SUIT"

Mom and Logan never seem to get pictures together (maybe because she hides from them) However, he looked too cute to pass up.

This is a cake I made for my nieces Sweet sixteen. Other then the fact the tower leaned at the last moment. I'm thinking about a Mideveil castle for Logan's first birthday. What do you guys think?

Just wanted to show you guys what's new with Logan. He is sitting up all by his lonesome, loves his excersaucer and his jungle jumper. He tries to crawl a lot but has only gotten up on his knees a few times. I think he will be crawling very soon and then just watch out our little explorer will be all go non-stop.

He loves this thing like no other. The toys all move around and I'm told the Easter Bunny has gotten Logan a few new toys to add to his collection.
This is our new floor. We thought since this is spungy and disney it would make a good floor covering for Logan to learn to crawl and it makes the floor less of a danger as he tries out new things. He loves to kiss Ariel. Yepp he will kiss her picture for hours!

This is what happens when you take a baby to a mall and you have a camera. Thank goodness he's a good sport!

Disneyland!

The Wheeler Family took a trip to Disneyland! Logan was in Heaven! I have never seen a baby so bright eyed. He loved everything he saw. He got to meet Mickey Mouse in person..... Logan loves Mickey almost as much as his mommy and daddy.

This last picture is Logan in his special outfit Aunt Robyn brought back from Sweaden. Yes, he finally fits it!!!!!!

Keeping with the theme of growing up too fast this week Logan had two firsts. He started eating solids in the form of rice cereal and he is getting FOUR TEETH! They are all coming in at the same time.

Christmas day!

Christmas morning Logan woke up bright and early with a gleam in his eye. It could have been the antibiotics but I think it was Christmas Spirit. He had slept in his stripped baby's first Christmas pj's and he looked adorable as always.

He had a bottle and was then raring to go.

When we got downstairs Logan opened his Tigger first and was fascinated with it. He couldn't take his eyes off of it, even thou there was more presents to open.

When he could tear himself away from Tigger he changed into his Christmas outfit and again looked adorable although a bit velvetly.
