"Give me a kiss Mom!" Logan likes to sneak up on me and give me kisses. He giggles and runs away. Then he comes right back and gives me even more kisses. Having a baby is So much fun!

Chris took a bunch of the floor tiles and made Logan a little fort. He lookes so cute crawling into it.

I know this is blurry but it's the only picture to turn out even a little bit of Halloween. Escpecially since we spent most of it in the emergency room with my dad going into a diabetic coma that night. Logan missed Trick or Treating.

Logan after playing with the flour bucket for days discovered how to take the lid off. He had a lot of fun before I got it away from him. It took hours to sweep the floor.

Burn update

Monday I took Logan to the Dr. She said the burn looked amazing and she didn't think there would be any scares. It looks great.

Logan's hand

Yesterday, Logan suffered second degree burns to four of his fingers on his right hand. He stuck his hand in boiling soup. It was an accident where you just underestimate the reach of a baby. The soup was on the back burner as far away from the front as you can get. He dove for it before anyone could react. The doctor said that the quick frst aid kept it from being much worse. He goes to the dr monday to have the blisters popped and the dead skin taken off. He is bandaged up to his elbow to keep the bandage on. Which isn't working as I have had to put a new one four times.

Logan is one!

Logan's birthday party started out with a bang. Chris and I got him two presents (knowing that he was going to be spoiled later on by everyone) but we put them out where he could see them but not touch them. Yeah it was mean. However, we did let him eat cake. The top of the cake went to Logan and he had a good time with it. Turns out Logan likes cake.

Here he is after everyone had gone home playing with his hammer. He loved it and it now must be in the car at all times so he can hit things as we travel.

This is what the cake started out looking like. We wanted it to look like a melting candy castle from a candy kingdom. Not sure if it tastd good. I think it wasn't big enough because not everyone got a piece.

"It's like this Dad; No you're not doing that right. Give it to me. I'll do it!"


We had to move the gate from the top of the stairs to the bottom and put a sturdier gate at the top. Logan kept grabbing the tools out of Chris' hands and babbling like he knew what he was doing. He loves the screwdriver. Mom wouldn't let him have it. It made him angry but what can you do about it.




Here he got a hold of the pliers for a few momments and decided he would install the new gate.
I took them away and he cried.



Chris just about gave up trying to get the new gate up. Logan thinks he has to be Daddy's little helper in all things....

Logan and Ryleigh were having all kinds of fun together. After Logan was done chasing her with the vaccuum. What a bully my baby is.

Asthma Scare!

Today when I picked Logan up from the babysitter he was wheezing. I rushed him home and gave him a breathing treatment. It didn't help so I did another one. Still nothing. He was getting grey and his lips were turning blue. I rushed him to the emergency room where the dr.'s took him in right away. They gave him steriods and a hour long breathing treatment. They finally got his beathing under control and his color came back.


All in all he is doing well! He has a dr.'s appointment tomorrow and I expect he will have to go on medicine for awhile.

9 month check up

Today Logan had his 9 month check up and I thought I give you all a general update as to how he is doing.


Weight: 23 pounds 8 ounces
Height: 29 inches

He is in the 80th percentile for both height and weight. He is perfectly healthy. He is beginning to walk around furniture. He still sits down and crawls when stuff is too far away. He has a very big vocabulary. He can say: Mama, Dada, Hi, Baba, and drandma. Of course, he still points to himself and says "Goo".

His best friend is the Roomba. It's our robot vaccumm. He chases it around and the other day I caught him kissing it and calling it MAMA! I was jealous.

DALLAS TRIP

We went to Dallas on vacation. This is in Fort Worth. Laura, Chris, Sher, and Logan had a great time exploring all the old buildings. Downtown Ft. Worth has an awesome water garden. Logan here is walking up a wall of water. It was hot and murky so he olved the cold water on his toes.
I don't know how much Laura loves Logan but Logan loved Laura like mad. They had a great time playing together. We miss being close to Lee's family!

Aaron looks so handsome in this hat! We will miss you when you go to the mission field but know you'll be GREAT!

Everyone knows how much Chris loves Superman. He thinks Logan should too! He has a whole Superman collection of clothes. It's sad Logan only has eyes for Mickey Mouse.










Recently, Logan and Mommy hitched a ride to Utah to see mommies sisters. We missed Daddy terribly but it was fun to see Grandpa with all his new babies. Here is Logan with his cousin Ryleigh.






Ryleigh is two months older than Logan but she's a dainty princess. The two of them hit it off eventually after they beat up on each other a few times, and I am sad to say a few fights over pacifier rights.



The next picture is Logan, Ryleigh, and Kerisyn. Kerisyn is my niece Timmi's baby girl. She had great fun taking care of both babies. She kept putting the pacifiers in their mouths. It was so funny I couldn't stop laughing.



My sister Lei Loni finally got to meet Logan. She let him play with her son Bryce's rattle. I was so honored and moved I cry at the memory of it.



Here is my niece Shendra. It's so weird for me to think that not so long ago Shendra was crawling around our house saying "Shena, up up" and now she is holding my son! Amazing how life goes!

This is Logan's purple pimp suit. This will be the last time he gets to wear it. He has gotten so big that he is wearing 12 month now. He is tall!

He didn't get it and that angerfied him! He is getting his second tooth and his gums are all red and swollen. He has been screaming all day and just very freakin cranky!

Sleep at last!

This was Logan's first Sanit Patrick's Day. We aren't Irish and I don't think Logan is either but what has that to do with the hoilday anyway right?
